A.G. Helton, CCIM

Chief Executive Officer

AGA native of Yazoo City, MS, A.G. Helton graduated from Belhaven College in 1982. Married to the former Missy Eichelberger of Morton, MS, they have three children. An avid and active participant in community service, Helton has served as President of Manchester Academy school board, President of the Yazoo County 4-H Association, Secretary of the Deacon body of the Yazoo City First Baptist Church, and Board of Directors for the Yazoo County Chamber of Commerce. In 2008 he was awarded the “Spirit of Yazoo” award, from the Chamber of Commerce, for his unselfish acts of volunteerism, dedication to the community, exceptional leadership and devoted service to retail and industrial growth for Yazoo County.

With over 28 years of experience in business, his first investments were in the food and retail business. He is the past president of the Premier Foods, Inc. He founded Action Properties, LLC in 2002 when he purchased the 40,000 sq. ft. Yazooville Shopping Center. Continuing his commercial property redevelopment for his hometown, he purchased the unoccupied local K-Mart building and turned it into a thriving shopping center. Action Properties has acquired 24 properties, similar to these, in Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico and Texas, totaling over 850,000 sq. ft.

Earning a designation held by less than one percent of Commercial Real Estate Professionals in the world, A.G. was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute in Newport Beach, CA. This award is earned by the completion of graduate level education curriculum and the presentation of qualifying industry experience.

Graham Helton, CCIM

Vice President

grahamHard work, dedication, and commitment are traits of the Helton Family and Graham is no exception. A native of Yazoo City, MS, Graham graduated from Mississippi State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate and Mortgage Appraisal Financing. While in college he was very active in the Kappa Sigma fraternity, Baptist Student Union, College Republicans, and Habitat for Humanity. He joined the Action Properties team immediately upon graduation from
Mississippi State University.

Two months after graduation Graham obtained his broker’s license from the Mississippi Real Estate Commission. With a commitment of continuing his education, on October 12, 2012, he earned the designation held by less than one percent of Commercial Real Estate Professionals in the world, the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute. He is the youngest in the state of Mississippi to hold this title.

In addition to leasing, tenant search and site selection, he is and has been the project leader on many Action Properties sites including: Heber Springs, AR, Hazlehurst, MS, and 3000 Fondren in Jackson, MS. He has spends the majority of his time and effort coordinating projects in multiple states. Graham’s leadership and professionalism is helping Action Propoerties to become a thriving competitor in the commercial real estate business. He goes above and beyond service and loyalty of working with people through the commercial real estate development and redevelopment of properties and investment opportunities. Graham is married to the former Jordan Dew of Eden, Mississippi and their first child was born in November 2012. He is a member of Pine Lake Church in Jackson, MS.

Greg Winford, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

gregGreg Winford has been a financial executive for over 25 years in a vast array of industries. This experience has given him the privilege of working with one of the Southeast’s largest and rapidly growing restaurant franchise groups and one of the nation’s leading IBM Business Partners. An entrepreneur himself, Greg understands the challenges business owners face. Particularly those organizations needing to successfully cope with the financial and management challenges in a way that intelligently addresses growth. His recent addition to our team will allow Action Properties to leverage his experience to insure that our growth is accomplished in a way that brings financial stability yet maximize returns to our owners and investors.

Greg is a Certified Public Accountant and worked several years in public accounting before embarking on a career in the private sector. He earned a Bachelors of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi. Greg has owned and sold several small businesses in the past few years. Recent businesses have centered around the pharmaceutical industry. Greg has also been a contract CFO doing consulting work for small businesses and non-profits who needed the experience of a financial executive.

Greg is married to the former Randy Ratcliff of Madison and they have four children. Greg is a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church and has serviced in many capacities including Chairman of the Finance Committee and most recently as Vice Chairman of the Deacons. He has also served in officer positions in several school and civic originations.

Brenda Moulder

Senior Executive Administration

brendaBrenda has more than 17 years of experience as an administrative assistant in addition to 9 years as a legal assistant/secretary. She studied courses in real property transactions through the University of Mississippi Paralegal Studies Program and gained experience at a Jackson, MS law firm by assisting in title searches; preparing title commitments and real estate closing documents. Since joining Action Properties team in 2010 she has obtained a Mississippi Real Estate Salesperson License.

Brenda and her husband Dennis have two children and two grandchildren. She is a member of Parkview Church of God in Yazoo City, MS where she teaches Sunday School and is a member of the Children’s Council.


Jim Eichelberger


jimJim Eichelberger, a native of Morton, MS; graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Business Marketing in 1989. He is married to the former Karen Valentine of Newton, Mississippi; together, they have two children. In his community, Jim has served as President of the Chamber of Commerce for Morton, Mississippi. Jim now resides in Brandon, Mississippi where he and his family attend Crossgates United Methodist Church were he has served as the Board of Trustees and Church Council.

Jim Eichelberger has more than 22 years of experience in the business and sales industry. He has been in Management for Food and Retail Businesses and Sales with Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals as well as Owner of a Construction Company.

He is committed to continuing the growth of Action Properties LLC with professionalism, dedication and his abilities with leadership. He is looking forward to serving the customers with continued developments of centers, properties and investment opportunities for Action Properties.

Kennith Helton

Internal Advisor

jimCommonly known as “Father H” began working in foothills of Virginia on the farm and family General Store. He left the farming business after high school graduation and began his grocery career with Colonial Food Stores in Richmond Virginia. Kennith rose quickly to become the youngest store manager in the chain, in less than 24 months. He moved to Yazoo City, MS in 1964 and began working for the Lewis Grocery Company.

Over the past 50 years, “Father H” has been the co-founder of Sunfoods LLC, Premier Foods, LLC, Party Time Ice LLC, Pit Stop Ice LLC, Rainbow LLC and Triple H Properties LLC. He is the Past co-owner of WJWS Radio LLC. He served on the Executive Board of Directors for BankPlus for the past 45 years. He is currently the co-founder and sits on the Board of Best Choice LLC, Maywood Food LLC, McDade Foods LLC. Past President of the Yazoo Civilian Club, past member of Chamber of Commerce and past president of Yazoo Shriners. Currently he is the Internal Advisor to Action Properties. He lives in Yazoo City with his wife of 55 years, Charlotte. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Yazoo City.

Steve Rogers

Strategic Advisor

jimFormed in 2011, Steve is the managing member of Rogers and Associates, LLC (“RA”). The firm focuses on providing specialized solutions for principals and institutional owners in the real estate industry and board level advisory work on a local and national basis.

Prior to founding RA, Steve led Parkway Properties as President and Chief Executive Officer from its early development through its move to the New York Stock Exchange (“NYSE”) to where it is today as a member of the S&P 600 Small Cap Index with assets under management having nearly two billion dollars in value. Steve provided leadership, policy setting, team building, senior officer development, capital allocation, investor relations and discretionary fund raising for the REIT during his 25 year tenure.

Steve joined Parkway as an asset manager in 1983 supervising the sale, leasing and management of multiple income producing properties. Steve was promoted to Vice President in 1988; Senior Vice President in 1991; President in 1993 and CEO in 1997. In 1993, under Steve’s leadership, the company pursued a focused strategy of office operations, leasing, acquisition and discretionary funds. During this time, Parkway was cited for numerous awards and honors including being named A Great Place to Work five times in the past eight years by the Society of Human Resource Management, NAREIT Leader in Light Award, and the Urban Land Institute Award for Excellence. Additionally, Steve was a member of Parkway’s Board of Directors from 1996 to 2011.

Before joining Parkway, Steve had established his leadership abilities and commitment to excellence. In 1976 he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from the University of Mississippi and went on to complete five years in the U.S. Army. While in the Army he quickly advanced from Lieutenant to Captain, was selected for early command and subsequently commanded an infantry company consisting of 160 officers and enlisted men. Among his military awards are the parachutist badge, Army Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal. Upon completing his military service, he attended Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration earning his MBA with first year honors in 1983.

His numerous community, political, and business activities include serving on the Board of RREEF America REIT III; Executive-in-Residence, Millsaps College; a Director of First Commercial Bank, a de novo bank in Jackson he helped found; a full member of Urban Land Institute (ULI); Trustee for the Walker Family Trust, a private diversified land and investment company and Executive Committee of the Boy Scouts of America (AJC). His past positions include serving two terms on the NAREIT Board of Governors, President of the Andrew Jackson Council of Boy Scouts of America, State Chairman for Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Director for Goodwill Industries Executive Committee, Vice Chairman and Trustee for the MS Museum of Art, State Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts Fund Raiser, Chairman of the Audit Committee for NAREIT, Board member for Mississippi Council on Economic Education, at large member for the Jackson Convention Complex Commission appointed by the Governor, and the National Advisory Board for the B.B. King Museum.

Steve is married to the former Anne Wells and they have four teenage children. He enjoys traveling with his family, all outdoor activities, hiking, and developing young business leaders.

Joe Uithoven

VP of Construction


Joe Uithoven is a licensed Landscape Architect with 35 years of commercial construction management experience. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1975. His experience includes managing the construction of over 100 buildings and tenants including hospitals, hotels, schools, churches and retail businesses. He is also the recipient of numerous awards and certifications within the industry. Documented success abounds in personnel management, analysis and implementation of construction related products, issues and communications with an organization of multiple design disciplines.

Uithoven is active in the First Presbyterian Church where he has served as a Deacon, Chairman of the Deacon’s Property Committee, Executive Committee of Board of Deacons and the Past President of his Sunday School class. He is a past Board Member of the Reservoir YMCA, Twin Lakes Conference Center and Jackson Preparatory School where he also was a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Property Committee for two terms. Joe and his wife live in Brandon, MS and have 3 children.

Tim Peeples

Property Management

timTim Peeples was born and raised in Yazoo City and began working at a young age cutting lawns and working at the local grocery store, Sunflower thru high school. He worked in management in the grocery industry for eight years before leaving the grocery industry to pursue law enforcement. He spent ten years as an officer and then served as Chief of Police for six years in Scuba, MS. Tm returned to the grocery industry and became store manager with Premier Foods, LLC eighteen years ago where he was responsible for all retail operations and promotional aspects, before joining Action Properties in January of 2013 as property manager.

Tim lives in Yazoo City and is married to the former Kimberly Denmark. They have 2 children, Kristen and Rebecca. He attends Calvary Baptist Church.


Pam McPhail

Leasing Agent

pamPam McPhail, a Yazoo City native, graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in management. Upon completion of college, she worked as a supervisor at McCarty Foods-Tyson, where she learned to effectively lead a team in accomplishing common production goals.  Afterwards, she married David McPhail, with whom she raised three children. Besides managing a busy household, she spent ten of the next sixteen years as the assistant director of a local soccer league consisting of over two hundred participants. In February, 2008, she became an outside sales representative for Aramark Uniform Services, in which she visited prospective clients, gathered information about customer needs, and presented customized solutions catered to individual as well as to corporate needs. Here she eventually rose to second in the region in total sales. Subsequently, she became an outside sales representative for Jackson Paper Company for three-and-a-half years covering the entire Mississippi Delta. An energetic, diligent, and dependable individual, Pam is extremely driven, always motivated to complete the tasks she has begun, and desirous to develop even further her sales acumen at Action Properties. She is a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City.

Valarie Pickens

Administration Accounting

valarieValarie Pickens graduated from Hinds Community College with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in 1990.  Valarie has twenty plus years’ experience in the Accounting field performing and in charge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Deposits, Cash and Credit and Internal Audits. She has a vast knowledge of corporate accounting as Valarie’s career began at CF Industries formally Mississippi Chemical Corporation, a hundred billion dollar global chemical producer of fertilizer and high end manufacturing products. Valarie also worked in accounting at Agriliance, where she was charged with preparing all types of loan documents for any and all loan request.

In 2000 she joined the Helton family company in their Premier Foods, Inc. division and was promoted intercompany to Action Properties, LLC in 2002 as a Financial Assistant in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Valarie also added Rental Account responsibilities to her role at Action Properties.

Valarie is a lifelong resident of Yazoo City, MS and is married to Richard Pickens and they have one daughter, KaRaye.  Valarie and her family are active members in the First Baptist Church of Yazoo City, MS where she has served on many committees.

Sarah Irby


sarahSarah Irby has 35 plus years’ experience in accounting and office manager fields. She moved from the Delta in 1993 to join the Helton family as office manager of Party Time Ice. Her background includes bookkeeper for two truck lines, staff accountant at Lewis Grocer in Indianola, and office manager for Reddy Ice in Yazoo City.

She is married to Kenny Irby and they have two sons Ken and Kent. She attends Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Bentonia.

Cathy Douglass


valarieCathy has over 30 years of working experience in the accounting, bookkeeping, secretarial, law and different retail professions. She has extensive experience in several different industries, especially Banking. Cathy worked with customer service helping create and audit customer deposits, and processed consumer mortgage loans. Cathy served as bookkeeper in several traditional farm crop and catfish farming entities. Cathy has entrepreneur spirit, she successfully owned and operated a store with café
eating establishment. Cathy also has performed secretarial and many other duties while employed in the law profession.

Cathy is a lifelong resident of Yazoo County and is married to James Douglas. They have four children, Kellie, Kirk, Rachel and Hunter. She is an active member of First Baptist Church in Yazoo City.
